This week an extra treat in the form of an additional podcast/audio serving up some midweek inspiration.
Personally l always feel that September can be and is a transitional month. Signifying the end of one season, and often offering a pause for reflection, a moment to stop and take a breath before we head into Autumn. Just as we start to think about changing our closets to accommodate different conditions. We can also find ourselves making changes in our mindsets and behaviours that perhaps started bubbling away underneath the surface during the carefree days of the summer months.
So are you feeling a shift already? Well l certainly have, firstly from a group creative call with the wonderful
and secondly, an impromptu dinner outing up to our nourishing local by boat under the moonlight!As we sat outside (yes still possible with the aid of heaters now!) Discussions around new adventures, and making changes was well underway. As my other half is also starting a new business venture! On the way back from dinner it felt as if we were fully immersed in the illumination and energy of the partial moon from the water. Intoxicating us and making it’s presence felt, somehow reconfirming and relaying those particular energies of new beginnings and adventures back to us.
I’m saying all of this to give the following some form of laid back context! As over the last week or so l’ve had this, simply said, nagging feeling. Provoking me to get really honest and real with myself in terms of what l can and want to offer as opposed to feeling what l should offer.
However, some peste questions kept making their presence felt, which were:
Is this really what l feel drawn to offer?
Do these offerings align and are they reflective with who l’ve become? Or am l hanging onto the past?
I am getting to caught up with what everyone else is offering and trying to be them in the process? I particular good one l think!
If l change the tone of what l do and offer, will it be enough?
Going back to my group session yesterday just made these self enquiries hard to ignore and what l needed to address, provoking some interesting internal responses. All of which resulted in me rewriting my bio/profile alongside my offerings that were more attuned to where l am now and how l feel. As opposed to leaving me feeling drained by having to offer too much, that realistically l just don’t have the time to do just yet! (another great discussion point Claire) as this is not my full time career/job/path (just yet!).
